The Toyota Alphard is a luxury MPV developed by Toyota in response to the Nissan Elgrand, using the chassis of the Previa with improvements. The first-generation Elfa was born in 2002, powered by 2.4-liter and 3.0-liter engines, both with optional four-wheel drive.
The Toyota Alphard was updated in 2008, and in order to combat its arch-rival the Elgrand, Toyota simultaneously launched a sister car, the Vellfire, which focuses on a youthful and sporty style, but is still slightly more conservative compared to the Elgrand.
The Toyota Alphard is larger than the Previa on the same platform. However, the length of the Alphard is much smaller than that of the Mercedes-Benz R-Class and Buick GL8, and is only comparable to that of the Odyssey. It is definitely not easy for the Alphard to create ample space for seven people with such a length, and thus the Alphard's unrivaled body height plays the most important role.
Interior, the first row and the second row of independent systems of audio and video players, so that the driver and passengers can have exclusive audio and video master control, in the front seat driving the use of satellite navigation at the same time, the rear seat passengers can still enjoy audio-visual entertainment. Other thoughtful touches inside include a large double sunroof, 4-step adjustable overhead LED mood lighting, and tri-zone climate control with Plasmacluster air cleaner and pollen filter. Power sliding doors on both sides, and the side sliding doors and tailgate can be unlocked with a smart key.
In addition, many Toyota Alphard owners are not satisfied with the car's original interior configuration, and hope that the car's atmosphere is more adequate, they will choose to modify a starlight roof!
