Fiber optic light is a lighting system consisting of a light emitter (light source), a light emitting conductor (fiber optic), and terminal accessories. Fiber optic is the main body of the system, with special polymer compounds as the core material, the light emitted by the light source to a predetermined place; fiber optic process performance effectively reduces the attenuation of light transmission, to achieve a highly efficient transmission of light; the outside of the high-strength protective sleeve for the protection and support of the optical fiber, according to the light-emitting requirements of the different transparent or opaque materials can be selected. The optical fiber has a long service life, and the light source is easy to replace and maintain.
The emitter device includes a light source, reflector, ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) filters and a rotating glass color disk. Since the light has to be transmitted to a predetermined place through an optical fiber, the light source power selection has to take into account the characteristics of the optical fiber. And in order to obtain a nearly parallel beam, the light-emitting point should be as small as possible, approximating a point light source.
The light-emitting conductor can be divided into two types: point-emitting fiber and whole-body luminescent optical fibers. The former is a beam of light transmitted to the end point and then illuminated by a tail light, while the latter is itself a luminescent body, forming a flexible light column. Considering the light attenuation during transmission, the length of optical fiber is limited. The flexibility of the optical fiber has a direct impact on the installation and construction, so the core diameter φ2.0mm above the fiber is generally used in multi-core sleeve plastic fiber.
Whether it is a point-emitting optical fiber or a whole-body emitting optical fiber, terminal accessories must be configured. According to different lighting characteristics, the point-emitting optical fiber terminals are configured as various types of reflective or direct lighting accessories similar to ordinary lamps; the online emitting optical fiber terminals are configured in opaque sealed envelopes.
However, our Beesidy starlight headliner uses tail-emitting optical fiber made of PMMA. When installed in indoor KTV, home, car, bar, club, bedroom sky ceiling roof and other scenes, it will look like stars filling the entire night sky!
